100 Good Wish Quilt......For my GIRL!!!

To welcome and celebrate a new life, there is a tradition in China to make a Bai Jia Bei or "100 Good Wishes Quilt". It is a custom to invite 100 people to contribute a single square patch of cloth. The 100 patches are sewn together into a quilt that contains the luck, energy, and good wishes from all the family and friends who contributed a piece of cloth.

#84- CHARLOTTE, NC USA

A great Asian print. I love the print it has Chinese characters for Dream, Hope, Harmony, Wisdom, Luck, Courage, Good Fortune, and Love. This is from Sean & April who I met online. They are waiting to adopt their daugter Sesci Mei from China too.
Their Wish:
"Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you." ~~Nathaniel Hawthorne
May your butterfly of hapiness always be within your grasp.
Thanks so much Sean & April....
