100 Good Wish Quilt......For my GIRL!!!

To welcome and celebrate a new life, there is a tradition in China to make a Bai Jia Bei or "100 Good Wishes Quilt". It is a custom to invite 100 people to contribute a single square patch of cloth. The 100 patches are sewn together into a quilt that contains the luck, energy, and good wishes from all the family and friends who contributed a piece of cloth.

#62- MOOSE JAW, SK

A beautiful fabric of some fans!! This is from Cory, Jeff & Quinn whom I have met through the lovely Adoption Community. They actually live only a few blocks from me and we have became great friends. Cory & Jeff are waiting to adopt either TWINS or a daughter from China. It is so exciting to be able to share our journeys with eachother and are soon-to-be GIRLS will be great playmates. Thanks guys!!!
With their wish Cory had put it on a beautiful card. The wish is so beautiful and has the 2008 Beijing Mascots on it too!!

May you touch
Fireflies and Stars
dance with Fairies
and
talk to the
Man in the Moon.
May you grow up with
Love,
gracious hearts, & people who
Care.
Welcome to the world
Little one
it's been waiting for you.
Thank you so much Cory, Jeff & Quinn. This is very special!!!
