100 Good Wish Quilt......For my GIRL!!!

To welcome and celebrate a new life, there is a tradition in China to make a Bai Jia Bei or "100 Good Wishes Quilt". It is a custom to invite 100 people to contribute a single square patch of cloth. The 100 patches are sewn together into a quilt that contains the luck, energy, and good wishes from all the family and friends who contributed a piece of cloth.

#16- BUFFALO POUND LAKE, SK

WOW...this is a surprise!! This is from Wendy who runs the store at our lake. I planned on dropping off a letter for her this weekend and here she gave this to my dad today. The wish is very cool!!! She has a map of the world with a heart on China and the word "Baby" with an arrow pointing to China. She also has lots of ladybug stickers, Chinese letters for "mommy" and a congratulations!!! Thank you so much Wendy and the fabric is perfect!!!
