100 Good Wish Quilt......For my GIRL!!!

To welcome and celebrate a new life, there is a tradition in China to make a Bai Jia Bei or "100 Good Wishes Quilt". It is a custom to invite 100 people to contribute a single square patch of cloth. The 100 patches are sewn together into a quilt that contains the luck, energy, and good wishes from all the family and friends who contributed a piece of cloth.

#11- LLOYDMINISTER, SK

Ohhh Winnie the Pooh....all kids favourite!! This square and wish is from my cousin Jason and Cara. It was so great to get this today...it made my day!!! Along with the square and wish I got a card from them... "Congratulations Mother-to-Be".....my first card and it really makes me feel that this adoption is really happening, which it is!!! Cara picked this fabric because it has Pooh flying a kite & and kites come from China. This is so special...thanks Jason & Cara!!!
