To welcome and celebrate a new life, there is a tradition in China to make a Bai Jia Bei or "100 Good Wishes Quilt". It is a custom to invite 100 people to contribute a single square patch of cloth. The 100 patches are sewn together into a quilt that contains the luck, energy, and good wishes from all the family and friends who contributed a piece of cloth.
This is a square from MOI!!!! I had to buy it!!! I wanted to find a fabric with the Canada flg and look what I found. My favourite sport is hockey and it is also Canada's sport too, so here is the fabric!! My mother will kill me, but it was perfect!! Now I just need to find a fabric with the China flag on it....so the hunt is on!!!
