100 Good Wish Quilt......For my GIRL!!!

To welcome and celebrate a new life, there is a tradition in China to make a Bai Jia Bei or "100 Good Wishes Quilt". It is a custom to invite 100 people to contribute a single square patch of cloth. The 100 patches are sewn together into a quilt that contains the luck, energy, and good wishes from all the family and friends who contributed a piece of cloth.

#96 & 97- LONGMONT, CO USA

These 2 beautiful squares are from Laura, David & Sydney. They are LID 03/24/06 for another daughter in China. The dragonfly fabric is so cute. My first black & white square. Their wish:
Look behind the clouds. You will always find the stars!

This is one of my favourite fabrics. The wish: Within your heart keep one, still, secret spot where dreams may go...

Thanks so much Laura....they are beautiful!!
