100 Good Wish Quilt......For my GIRL!!!

To welcome and celebrate a new life, there is a tradition in China to make a Bai Jia Bei or "100 Good Wishes Quilt". It is a custom to invite 100 people to contribute a single square patch of cloth. The 100 patches are sewn together into a quilt that contains the luck, energy, and good wishes from all the family and friends who contributed a piece of cloth.

#130- CALGARY, ALBERTA


Ahhhh.....Brauck!!! Well this is a very special piece of material, not only to me but also to Brauck. Brauck is my little (pretend) brother who will ALWAYS be my little brother. But this piece is extra special because its from his Great Grandma who has had this fabric from Romania for over 100 years!!!
Brauck also wrote me a little note of his memories of when we were younger.......thanks so much Brauck!!!
